ROSEMARY the angels' share Nirvana are underrated. I mean, right now they are. There has probably been a time - I was far too young to care - when they weren't, and when there were tons of bands just cloning their style, but it's pretty obvious to me that nowadays they're not so influential. Which is, in my humble opinion, a pity. France's ROSEMARY is a three piece band which takes clear inspiration from Nirvana. The only difference I have noticed is a slighltly softer and poppier voice, a little less desparate than Cobain's, which make a good change. They are pretty damn good at it I think, and this raises a question : do you prefer good or original music ? I really have no doubt about it, and if someone plays in a way that causes me to feel something, well I really don't care of anything else, or at least for sure not of their place in the history of music. Nirvana are no more with us, they only released three studio albums, and I'm only glad there is someone else doing what they were doing, and doing it great. I have already reviewed their previous effort, Tracks for a lifetime, and my opinion hasn't changed. The angel's share is a four song EP, with one semiacoustic track and three great powerful grunge songs. I will surely keep on listening to it. Well done. MY HUMBLE OPINION http://mho.splinder.com
